چکیده
Chronic venous Insufficiency is a common problem, and radio-frequency ablation (RFA) of incompetent veins effective treatment. In 2018, the Venclose device catheter were approved for use in United States. Given lack literature on this new devicem we previously published initial results now are following-up with 1-year data from our patients. We performed retrospective analysis patients who had received endovenous RFA Venclose, looking at their follow-up duplexes 3 months, 6 9 1 year. Procedure success was coded as target remaining obliterated lower-extremity ultrasound. followed 405 846 procedures. Our 69.3% female (281/405) aged 18 to 93 years (mean, 54.02 ± 12.4 years). Under clinical manifestations portion CEAP classification system, majority limbs class C3 (543; 64.1%). Follow-up ranged 28 604 days. treated 19 anterior accessory saphenous veins, 491 great vein (GSV) above-knee segments, 149 GSV below-knee duplicate, 186 small veins. At there procedures followed-up, 15 recanalizations; 651 follow-up, additional recanalizations, no recanalizations months (n = 397 procedures) year 246 procedures). observed 24 total, four which required reintervention. Of 13 three eight all reinterventions segments. Kaplan-Meier showed successful closure 97% patient population Cox regression accounting laterality, sex, age, significant hazard ratio. The have good All identified occurred within follow-up; none noted or Recanalization rates procedure comparable other catheters.

Tumescentless endovenous radiofrequency ablation with local hypothermia and compression technique
INTRODUCTION Modern surgical management of chronic venous insufficiency is possible since the development of catheter-based minimally invasive techniques, including radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and the application of colour Doppler sonography. RFA technology requires the use of tumescent anaesthesia, which prolongs the operating time. Instilling tumescent anaesthesia percutaneously below the s...
متن کاملClinical utility of the Covidien Closure Fast™ Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation Catheter
The Closure Fast™ Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation Catheter is the latest version of a minimally invasive system for the treatment of patients with superficial venous disease. The Closure Fast™ catheter heats the vein wall to 120°C, causing denaturation of the collagen of the vein wall and contraction of the vessel such that no blood can flow through it. Nearly one million systems have been s...
متن کاملRadiofrequency catheter ablation of atrial arrhythmias. Results and mechanisms.
BACKGROUND Radio frequency catheter ablation is accepted therapy for patients with paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia and has a low rate of complications. For patients with atrial arrhythmias, catheter ablation of the His bundle has been an option when drugs fail or produce untoward side effects. Although preventing rapid ventricular response, this procedure requires a permanent pacemaker ...
متن کامل[Pulmonary thromboembolism associated with radiofrequency catheter ablation].
An 8-year-old boy diagnosed as having Wolff-ParkinsonWhite syndrome, with no structural heart defects, was referred for radiofrequency catheter ablation. The procedure was performed with the patient under deep sedation with intravenous midazolam and intravenous fentanyl. Two quadripolar electrode 5 Fr catheters (Bard®) were inserted percutaneously via the femoral vein and positioned consecutive...
